Google Review QR Code for Your Business

A QR code that knows what happened after the scan: which spot it was scanned at, whether the customer continued, and what reached you privately instead.

What is a Google review QR code?

It is a printed code a customer scans with their phone camera to open a link connected to your business - sparing them the search for your name, your profile and the review button. Google Business Profile itself offers a free review link that can be turned into a QR code, and if a plain shortcut to Google is all your business needs, that option genuinely can be enough. RevYou starts where the bare code ends: it connects each scan to a tailored business page, a per-spot source and measurable numbers.

Where should you place a review QR code?

Wherever the experience naturally ends and the phone is already in the customer's hand. Common placements, for example:

  • Counter stands - by the register or the pickup area, where the customer pays and waits.
  • Stickers - on the inside of the door or window, catching customers on the way out, or by the mirror in a salon.
  • Tables - a small chip or card where guests sit, useful in cafés and restaurants.
  • Packages and invoices - printed on the bag, the box or the receipt, so the request travels home with an online or takeaway order.

The goal is to be visible without being pushy: present at the moment a happy customer would naturally act, never blocking or nagging.

Why should each spot get its own link?

Three identical-looking codes do not have to be the same code. With RevYou, the counter stand, the door sticker and the table chip each carry a link with its own source. The system then reports each spot separately: how many scans it produced, how many customers continued, and where people dropped off. Instead of guessing whether the sticker on the door earns its place, you compare it to the counter and decide with numbers. A code that produces nothing gets moved; a spot that converts gets reinforced - for instance with an NFC tag beside it (see NFC Google review cards).

What opens after the customer scans?

With a bare QR code: the Google review form, and that is the whole story. With RevYou, the scan opens a page tailored to your business, and a short flow begins:

  • the customer says how the experience was, in one tap;
  • they pick which of your actual services the visit was about;
  • a drafted review appears - fully editable, so the words stay theirs;
  • they copy the text and continue to your Google page, where they paste, choose their own rating and publish from their own account.

A customer who had a problem can choose a different path on the same page: private feedback that reaches only you, with contact details if they want a call back. The choice is always the customer's - the Google link stays available to everyone, because Google prohibits review gating and RevYou is built to comply, not to filter. No incentives are offered and no screen ever asks for a specific rating. The full picture is in the guide to Google reviews for businesses.

Do you need to reprint the code when something changes?

Not with RevYou. The printed code points at your business page in the system, not at a fixed destination - so your list of services, your Google link and your page content are all updated remotely while the code on the counter stays the same piece of print.

What does it cost?

The QR touchpoints are part of the service, not a one-time generator: RevYou runs at $49 or $79 per month (or $39 or $65 per month equivalent billed annually), with no setup fee and no annual commitment on monthly billing. USD pricing for businesses outside Israel. Prices exclude applicable taxes. Physical touchpoints, including NFC tags, cards and stands, are not included in international list prices. Any physical requirements are discussed separately and are subject to availability and an individual quote. In Israel? See ILS pricing. Plans and what each includes are on the pricing page.

Frequently asked questions

Does Google let a business create a review QR code?

Yes. Google Business Profile provides a shareable review link, and it can be turned into a QR code. For a business that only needs a shortcut to Google, that free option can be enough.

Do customers need an app to scan?

No. Most modern phones scan QR codes directly from the camera, and the link opens in the browser - no download and no signup.

Can I put the QR code on invoices, packages or business cards?

Yes, as long as the code is printed large enough and sharp enough to scan comfortably. Printed materials are exactly where QR beats NFC.

Can I use several QR codes in the same business?

Yes. With RevYou, each spot - counter, table, door, package - gets its own source, so the reports show scans and continuation rates per spot separately.

Does a QR code improve my Google ranking by itself?

Not directly. A QR code only shortens the path for customers who want to leave a review; the reviews themselves are written and published by the customers.

Can I ask only satisfied customers to scan?

No. Google prohibits selective solicitation - filtering customers so that only happy ones are asked. The review path should be equally available to everyone, and in RevYou it always is.
